When I was looking for a trainer she was one of two that I was wondering about. I called both trainers and had to leave a message. Carmel called me back that night and told me that she could hear in my message that I was ready to change my habits and she wanted to be the one to help me.
I explained that I was going to be a hard case because I was so obese (the biggest I had ever been, even when pregnant with 9 lbers), out of shape, and loved, loved, loved food! She knows that I was wanting to change because some of my friends were having to start on high BP medication and were being diagnosed with high colesterol and the big type 2 diabetes. It really scared me, so I decided that I needed to act like a responsible adult and take action.

I love my workouts. And, even though, I haven't completely changed my eating habits ( love butter, cheese, pork, beef, real sugar, flour, get the picture. Oh, I cook really well and so does my husband.) I do cut back, sometimes not a lot.
But, I feel so strong and healthy! My husband loves it. He can see a big difference in my shape.

The Challengers are Ready to WIN!
They are all up for it and ready to have a little friendly competition. They will be judged on all aspects of their loses, bodyfat, weight, measurements, and pictures. Plus how close they came to their 12 week goals.
Just because summer is here doesn't mean MY girls give up! Nope they are die hard, ready to take on any obstacle that gets in their way.
The best part about this challenge is you are all in the same boat, everyone is starting to see some serious changes now. Some have tossed out the big girl panties, some have had to go shopping for pants that wont fall off (oh dear we hate shopping for smaller pants don't we!) and some of you are starting to see muscles you never thought you would have. Some are losing bodyfat for the first time in their life and realizing just how important THAT number is verses the scale.
One of my girls just WON a trip to Hawaii through her job so she is on a mission...watch out for her!
Everyone needs this challenge for different reasons but the one you all share is the circle of support. This will be a great way to have someone there that knows EXACTLY what you mean when you say "I'm so busy" YOU ALL ARE BUSY! Or I "forgot" to eat....do you feel me glare now?

I provide the fitness and exercise plan, the equipment, and the instruction. You provide the desire to change, and the right attitude.
Why Home Training?
Because it eliminates excuses! Not enough time to go to the gym? The gym comes to you. You can work out on your lunch hour, or at any time of day that works for you. Excuse gone! Don’t like the “meat market” atmosphere? I don’t either. When you work out at home or in your office, you don’t have to compete with anyone, dress up for anyone, or work out to impress anyone. Excuses gone!
Many people already own equipment, and don’t want to join a gym (and you shouldn't have to!) You may own exercise videos that you don’t watch (or ONLY watch, and don’t actually participate.) Or you have tried it once and gave up. Having a trainer work with you can teach you how to properly use the equipment you have, motivate you (when you have the time and resources and just don’t do it anyway) and give you ideas of things you can use—right in your home—to improve your fitness and health.
It’s also a good opportunity to have a fitness professional evaluate your environment for foods that could jeopardize your program, if that’s something that would be helpful. I might ask to look in your refrigerator or pantry from time to time, and address any “triggers” that could get you off track or lead to a lapse. NOT to judge you; but to be a resource, and give you advice about things you might try as alternatives.

I will personally go with you to the grocery store and help you choose the best choices for the recipes you like best in your new nutrition plan. No extra cost, just replace this with your first session and your kitchen will
be all set up. I will show you what I use and what to look for and avoid when you are on your own.
I also offer Sports Training for adolescent athletes, to maximize their future potential. Training programs are designed to increase speed, power, agility, acceleration and strength.
